This alloy has the following properties:
15cr-4al has low aluminum and chromium content, high iron content, good oxidation resistance, thermal strength and high positive temperature coefficient below 800 ℃. Under normal temperature, it has high plasticity, cold stamping and general welding performance. After annealing, the structure of the alloy is ferrite, which is unstable in use. 475 ℃ is the brittleness temperature zone. After long-term heating, the grains are continuously coarse.

Applications of cr13al4 include:
1. As a heating element, it is mainly used for heat treatment furnace with temperature below 750 ℃. However, it is not a common heating material
2. Heating wire for low gear electric heating pipe and low gear household electric heater
3. Resistance tape for resistance box
